**HEAD OF PROCUREMENT**

Location: East Midlands with hybrid working

Salary: £80,000 - £85,000 + Excellent benefits package

The Head of Procurement will play a pivotal role in driving the company's procurement strategy, ensuring efficiency and maximising value across all operations. The Head of Procurement will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement policies, managing supplier relationships, and optimising inventory and logistics. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in procurement and team leadership.

**Responsibilities Included:**
- Design and implement a company-wide procurement policy to control costs and rationalise purchasing.
- Develop an annual business plan to meet customer expectations for service provision and maintenance.
- Establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the procurement team to drive continuous improvement.
- Lead supplier relationships to ensure delivery of EBIT and negotiate key commercial contracts.
- Manage risk through effective risk management disciplines.

**Skills and Attributes:**
- 5+ years of management experience, leading teams of 6 or more.
- Extensive indirect procurement experience with a focus on stakeholder management.
- Strong communication skills and experience in Supplier Relationship Management (SRM).
- Understanding of maintenance and production processes (desirable but not essential).
- Fully CIPS qualified with a degree level education and management qualifications.
