The Head of FP&A role presents an exciting opportunity for a dynamic finance professional to join a forward-thinking organisation that values analytical skills and strategic insight. The Head of FP&A will be responsible for leading the financial planning and analysis function, managing a team, and influencing key stakeholders across diverse markets. This pivotal role will involve overseeing the planning cycle, enhancing business reporting, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing a team of 2-3 individuals, overseeing the full range of FP&A responsibilities.
- Leading the planning cycle, including strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Enhancing business reporting and developing an analytics platform for the organisation.
- Modelling and appraising high-value, complex projects, including business case development.
- Managing relationships with business partners and providing technical accounting support as needed.
Skills and attributes:
- Qualified accountant, ideally with CIMA accreditation.
- Strong experience in FP&A with a proven ability to use analysis to shape business direction.
- Excellent Excel skills and experience with BI systems.
- Demonstrated ability to manage diverse stakeholder groups and navigate different cultures.
- Experience in people management and driving organisational change.
