Our client is a market leading retailer based in the East Midlands. An exciting opportunity has been created for a Finance Operations Manager, to be based in Leicester, supporting the Financial Controller with all aspects of financial operations within a fast-paced, high volume transactional environment.

This is a high profile, critical role and an exciting time to join this business as they continue to diversify and target new market opportunities both organically and through acquisition.

Responsibilities to include:

  • Oversee financial and operations teams managing cash, supplier payments, reporting and reconciliation, transactional management, accounting and controls.
  • Providing expert advice in these areas, with focus on efficiency, supporting business growth, maximising cash flow and managing business risk and compliance.
  • Responsible for business projects including systems and process improvements and the management of new and existing supplier initiatives and relationships.
  • Support the Financial Controller in identifying opportunities to run processes more efficiently utilising automation.

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA) with a track record of people leadership within large scale finance operations and transactional finance environments.

You will be accustomed to high volume and fast-paced environments and have a continuous improvement mindset. First class communication skills will be essential.

As Finance Operations Manager, you'll ensure that strict organisation and controls are operated at all times,
supported by relevant KPI's and metrics and will develop individuals to deliver high standards of service.

Package on offer is £80,000 - £90,000 salary plus car allowance, attractive bonus and benefits. Please note this position is 5 days p/week on-site.
