We are thrilled to be working with a well-established, family run company based in Meriden. They have a reputation for excellence and a commitment to outstanding customer service. With a collaborative work environment and a focus on team work, they are seeking a skilled Finance Manager to join their team. This office based role will keep you on your toes with a wide range of tasks, from overseeing the transactional supervisors to supporting with the preparation of management accounts.
This role comes with an annual salary of up to £40,000.00.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the transactional team leaders, ensuring accurate ledger maintenance.
- Support the Head of Finance in developing and maintaining robust financial systems and controls for timely and accurate reporting.
- Assist in reviewing financial systems, recommending and implementing process improvements.
- Contribute to budget preparation, forecasts, and variance analysis.
- Prepare detailed monthly management accounts, including analysis, commentary, and variance reporting for review.
- Oversee monthly bank reconciliations and support the annual audit process.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships internally and externally.
- Undertake ad hoc financial tasks as needed.
Candidate Experience, Skills and Attributes:
- Minimum of two years' experience in a Finance Manager or similar role.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and reporting skills.
- Strong technical expertise in financial reporting and taxation.
- Advanced IT skills.
- Proven track record in preparing and presenting financial results.
- Analytical and investigative mindset with the ability to work under pressure.
