Gleeson Recruitment Group are partnering with a recognisable UK brand name, who are looking to add a new Finance Business Partner to their ever-growing Finance function. This is a multi-site business, which would involve an element of travel and a qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) Finance Business Partner, who has worked in a similar position.
As a Finance Business Partner, you will be at the heart of the business, working closely with senior management and operational teams to drive profitability, control costs, and support key decision-making processes. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, multi-site environment, and partner with stakeholders to provide actionable financial insights that contribute to our client's growth strategy.
Key responsibilities of the Finance Business Partner position:
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing financial insights and strategic recommendations to improve business performance.
- Collaborate with operational managers to understand business drivers, identify risks, and support budgetary control across multiple sites.
- Lead financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Prepare monthly management accounts, variance analysis, and present key findings to senior stakeholders.
- Analyse site-level performance and develop KPIs to measure operational efficiency and profitability.
- Drive initiatives to optimise costs, improve margins, and manage working capital effectively.
- Support due diligence, financial modeling, and post-acquisition integration activities in a private equity environment.
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting to support business cases, investment decisions, and strategic projects.
Requirements of the position:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with strong commercial acumen.
- Proven experience in a Finance Business Partner role, ideally within a multi-site, private equity-backed, or fast-paced business.
- Strong financial analysis skills with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with a proven track record of influencing and supporting senior leaders.
- Experience in financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and thrive in a dynamic, growth-driven environment.
- A proactive and solution-oriented mindset with strong communication and presentation skills.
