Key Responsibilities:
- Business Partnering: Collaborate with department heads and senior leadership to provide financial insights and recommendations that align with the company's strategic goals.
- Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes for your assigned business areas, ensuring accurate financial modelling and scenario analysis.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and analyse financial performance, KPIs, and operational metrics. Present financial results, highlighting key trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Strategic Decision Support: Provide commercial and strategic advice to non-finance stakeholders, supporting business cases, investment decisions, and cost-saving initiatives.
- Risk Management: Identify financial risks and opportunities and work with cross-functional teams to develop mitigation strategies.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and deliver clear, concise financial reports and presentations to senior management, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Continuous Improvement: Support the development of finance processes and systems to drive efficiency, accuracy, and transparency in financial reporting.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Professional Qualification: ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent qualification.
- Experience: Proven experience in a finance business partnering role, ideally within a large or complex organisation.
- Commercial Acumen: Strong understanding of business drivers and the ability to provide commercially focused financial advice.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse complex financial data and translate it into actionable insights for business improvement.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and challenge stakeholders at all levels.
- System Proficiency: Advanced Excel skills, experience with financial modelling, and familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Problem-Solving: A proactive approach to identifying problems and implementing solutions.
